For the third year in a row, the City of Rifle’s GRIT board has shown their support for the Grand Hogback Trails by providing funding for us to host our annual Extravaganza!

Part mountain bike ride, part parking lot party, the Grand Hogback Extravaganza was created to spread awareness of Rifle’s Grand Hogback Trail System as the newest destination-worthy riding area on the Western Slope. Attracting regional riders from the Roaring Fork Valley, Eagle River Valley, Grand Junction and Steamboat, the Extravangza features a game-style ride where riders stop at various stations along the course to score points.

Our event coincides with International Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day, and with the completion of new family-flow loops through our lower sage meadows, we’re going to have mini-rides for the kiddos as well.
